SlimWall 35 triumphs at the 2024 Archiproducts Design Awards
We have a winner! On 14 November 2024, SlimWall 35 claimed victory twice at the Archiproducts Design Awards. The residential stick façade came in first in the Building Shell category and received a coveted Sustainability Award too, granted by a panel of international building and design specialists.
Lots of positive emotions at the ninth edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards. Every year, the ADA event in Milan brings together an international audience of architects, designers, and creative companies to celebrate innovative and user-friendly solutions. Creatives from all over the world share insights in new product trends and try to redefine the future of sustainable concept design. Throughout the night, a professional jury rewards systems that stand out for their exceptional design and sustainable characteristics. Reynaers Aluminium proudly attended the event and did not go home empty-handed!
SlimWall 35, an elegant and sustainable solution
SlimWall 35, a minimalistic residential stick façade, proved to be our champion of the night. Thanks to its slender yet sturdy aluminium profiles, SlimWall 35 allows for vast glass surfaces up to two floors high, with optional integrated (opening) elements. It is a unique solution within our product range that offers an ideal match for spacious contemporary homes or airy public buildings, such as restaurants or shops. The combination of slim aesthetics and engineered versatility has made SlimWall 35 the rightful winner of the ADA award in the Building Shell category.
A dedicated jury of specialists within the field of architecture and (eco-)design also granted SlimWall 35 a special Sustainability Award. In fact, this solution is futureproof in multiple ways. SlimWall 35s production process has been optimised to limit waste as much as possible. Also, its slender design simply requires less aluminium, which results in a lower embodied carbon impact compared to other, more robust façade solutions. Moreover, this durable curtain wall system is compatible with triple glazing and offers Passive House certified thermal insulation, all year long. Clearly, SlimWall 35 is always a responsible choice.
