A Rated windows (WER)
The average home can lose up to 10% of heat through its windows and up to 15% through its doors. Energy efficient windows and doors are of utmost importance in preventing energy loss from a home. By installing energy efficient glazing, homeowners can retain heat, keeping their homes warmer and helping to reduce their heating bills and carbon footprint.
With our continued investment in to sustainable products and practices, Reynaers has developed an impressive range of energy efficient aluminium windows available to homeowners that meet the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) system. By following the BFRC assessment, Reynaers is able to offer A++, A+ and A rated aluminium windows (Window Energy Rating - WER).

BFRC
The BFRC is the premier UK authority for independently verified ratings of energy efficient windows and doors. BFRC uses the well-known and well-respected 'A++' to 'E' energy efficient labels - similar to those found on fridges, freezers and washing machines (www.bfrc.org). All BFRC certified windows and doors have been assessed according to the following three measures.
These measurements look at the energy lost through the window or the door, the energy gained from the sun and the energy lost through air leakage around the frame.
Reynaers A++, A+ & A rated Windows & Doors
The following Reynaers windows and doors can achieve an A++, A+ or A rating in accordance with the above mentioned criteria as specified by the BFRC (Please note: results are based on specific glass, spacer and profile combinations, please contact Reynaers technical department in Birmingham for specific details).
