Technical Director
Industry experience: 27 Years
Expertise: John joined Reynaers Aluminium Ltd in 1996 and has overall responsibility for the UK Technical Department and services. John has direct input into all UK major projects as well as overseeing all UK product developments, including testing, accreditations and the development of bespoke solutions.

Malcolm Turner
Senior Estimator
Industry Experience: 38 years in the Building Industry HVAC, HNC and HND .
Expertise: 30 years in the glazing façade industry from fabrication, quality control, and installation to technical estimating, full facades subcontractor and systems house, split into (8yrs uPVC and 22yrs Aluminium).

Andrew Walley
Estimator
Industry Experience: 37 years
Expertise: Estimating across a number of Fabricators and Installers from Small to Medium/Large size over the whole working career.
Have experience using most Aluminium systems used in the Glazing Industry including Reynaers.
Looking to add to and compliment the current very experienced Estimating department at Reynaers.

James Murray
Technical Manager
Industry experience: 21 Years
Expertise: The design and fabrication of a wide range of façade systems and products.
“I started my career on the shop floor and spent 7 years fabricating curtain walls, windows and unitised facades before moving to an office-based role as a production planner/CNC programmer. I then transferred over to design and spent the next 12 years working for various high-level façade subcontractors designing full envelope and bespoke solutions, completing projects for the likes of Berkeley Homes and Laing O’Rourke before joining Reynaers Aluminium as Technical manager in 2021.”

Ian Osborne
Product Manager
Industry Experience: 21+ Years
Expertise: "I started as a draughtsman/project manager for a patent glazing fabricator and installer and then took on the draughtsman/project manager role for fire-rated steel facades within the same company. I later joined an aluminium system house as a product designer and moved to technical manager before joining Reynaers in 2021 as a new product introduction manager."

Martin Boland
ReynaPro Manager
Industry experience: 35+
Expertise: ReynaPro software support and training.
"My first appointment was as a trainee estimator in aluminium and steel windows, working for various fabricators in and around the Birmingham area before joining Reynaers in 1993. I have been operating within the technical department since joining Reynaers specialising in ReynaPro software support and training."

Chris Newman
Product Development and Engineering Manager
Industry experience: 25 Years
Expertise: "I have been in the industry for 25 years, starting out fabricating conservatory roofing and PVC systems, and since 2008 I have worked in technical roles with a system house.
My experience covers a wide range of fenestration products, from windows and doors, to unitised façade design. I have expertise in UK, and EN fire regulations and standards, with a level 5 qualification in technical guidance and regulations in relation to UK requirements, and last year completed a Business Management Degree with the OU.
Outside of work, I am an F1 fan, and I have coached my youngest son's football team for what is now the tenth season.."

Iftkar Ali
Technical Advisor
Industry experience: 17 Years
Expertise: Structural and inertia calcs, U value, solar shading, factory layout, solar PV, bespoke profiles, acoustics and fire, bullet and explosion systems.
"I have 17 years’ experience, working in Aluminium systems house. I can assist with wind load calcs, U value calcs as well as thermal FEA analysis. I have working knowledge of both stick curtain walling and unitised systems along with experience in estimating software."

Paul Kent
Senior Training Officer
Industry experience: 39 Years
Expertise: PVC fabrication, aluminium fabrication, Research and Development technician roles, troubleshooting, and training.

Expertise: "Primarily I come from a mechanical engineering background.
I have been in the aluminium windows, doors, sliders, and curtain walling industry for over 33yrs working at systems companies and fabricators. I have worked on numerous projects both large and small during that time.
My aim has always been to try and help people where I can and to resolve problems working in a team.
In my spare time, I like doing DIY, travelling and visiting my family and grandchildren."

Industry experience: Over 30 Years
Expertise: Design and project management work linked with fabrication and installation support at several fabricators led to joining Reynaers in 2001.
"After working within the technical team on project design, structural/thermal calculations and specification, I moved to the training team where a range of training module courses were set up and established for customer knowledge and support on system choice, fabrication and installation.
All experiences allow customer support in both large commercial projects and more recent trade and retail sectors."
