Fitted together with modules created off-site, the Croydon tower blocks are a leading example of the quality and efficiency that can be achieved through innovative modular construction.
Standing at 135 metres tall, the development features two tower blocks, one with 44 storeys and the other with 38, which are home to 546 build-to-rent (BTR) properties ranging from one to three bedrooms. The ambitious project also features a podium garden, rooftop gardens and panoramic walkways. On the ground level is an art gallery, café and woodland garden which was constructed using traditional methods, while everything above was completed using the modular method.
Sustainable, efficient, and proven
This building shows how modular construction cuts waste, reduced disruption and saves significant time compared with traditional building approaches. It also presents a sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective model for the future.
Quality, sustainability and innovation were at the heart of this project, as well as a significant reduction in CO2. To achieve this the use of high quality, durable and efficient materials was key.
